New Business Alert!
Tacoma’s brewery district has a new neighbor—and this time, it’s all about wine! On Blended Knee opened on Tacoma Ave in July and has been pouring bold, beautiful wines ever since. Owner (and Tacoma native!) La’Rissa Dwyer and her husband Michael have long shared a love of wine, noticing in their previous careers how it naturally brought people together. When Michael’s curiosity led him to study viticulture, La’Rissa dove into the logistics of starting a winery, and their passion grew into a full-on pursuit. After years of making wine in Woodinville, they turned their dream into reality here in La’Rissa’s hometown Tacoma. Their modern new tasting room is now the perfect spot to sip, mingle, and make memories. Stop by to try favorites like A Classic Encounter Riesling or First Dance Sauvignon Blanc while the sun’s still shining.
